Guidelines for Good Computer Upkeep


Stay Updated on the Current Patches:
Keep your Anti-Virus Software definitions up-to-date and do a full system scan frequently (at least once a week).  It is also suggested that you install all of the Windows Updates that are available for your computer to prevent a virus or security issue from affecting you.

Scan, Scan and then Scan Again:
If you have already used the Stinger virus removal program, we suggest you rescan your computer with the most recent version.  The latest version released by McAfee can be found at http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/.

Install & Run Anti-Virus Software:
