Socket announces new executive team member

Columbia, Mo.—Socket, a Missouri-based telephone and Internet provider, is proud to announce the addition of Chris Force as the new director of finance and accounting.

Force’s primary responsibilities are to serve as a member of the senior management team and to develop and maintain corporate records and systems that support audit, finance and compliance requirements. He will also oversee the accounting department.

Force brings a wealth of experience in high technology, executive management, finance and accounting. His previous experience in Missouri includes companies such as: Datastorm Technologies, Inc., Williams Keepers, LLC, Kraft Food Service, Inc., Arthur Andersen & Co. and Don Landers, CPA.

Force has lived in mid-Missouri for most of his life. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1987 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He then became a certified public accountant (CPA) in the state of Missouri in 1988. In 1996 he received his master’s degree in business administration from William Woods University.
